Egham Orbit

Working alongside Watson Batty Architects and Pellikaan Construction, CTD Architectural Tiles were delighted to supply tiles to the brand new state-of-the-art leisure facility Egham Orbit in Surrey.

With a royal opening by HRH The Duke of Kent, Egham Orbit is home to a 25m x 17m main pool, 10m x 10m smaller pool and kids splash zone. Alongside the swimming pools, the leisure centre also offers a large fitness gym, four group exercise studios, soft play, sports arena and the Otium Spa.

CTD’s Pro Pool package was used in all of the pool tanks to ensure that safety standards as well as aesthetics were exceeded. The technical aspect of this project was key but with a serenity feel.

The main priority for the spa was to produce a space that created a minimal, tranquil feel. We were tasked with helping to create the Otium Spa as an ideal destination if you are searching for pure indulgence and ultimate relaxation. Versatile and modern, tiles from our Core range in a 600x300mm size were used throughout to ensure this brief was met. Core is a range of six concrete inspired porcelain tiles defined by a large number of format options and two stunning abstract geometric décor tiles. It’s warmth, elegance, functionality and strength are major considerations that made this tile the best option for the space.
