The Swan & Angel Pub, St Ives

CTD Architectural Tiles has recently supplied tiles for The Swan and Angel pub in St Ives.

Named after two of St Ives’ historical 18th century pubs, the CTD Architectural Tiles specification team worked closely with Architect CT to fulfil the client’s brief to create an interior scheme that was in keeping with the history of the local market town.

Using the Antic range in 150x75mm, a selection of colours was chosen to create a feature wall in both the service area of the pub and in the bathrooms.

Paired with the brick-effect Bristol wall tile in the Umber colourway in the bathrooms, the selected products delivered schemes that were sympathetic to the pub’s traditional aesthetic whilst adding a twist of contemporary rustic charm.

CTD Architectural National Sales Manager John Lannin told us –

“The Swan and Angel pubs in St Ives have been part of the town since the early 18th century. It was fantastic to be given the opportunity to be a part of this history and update the pubs for the 21st century. Having worked with this client on a number of projects, we were confident we could deliver products that would fit the brief both aesthetically and practically. We’re pleased to add The Swan & Angel to our portfolio of pubs and restaurants and look forward to working on similar future projects.”

CTD Architectural Tiles worked with Architect CT, Sanderson Contractors and C&J Metcalf to complete this project.
