The Boarding House Refurbishment

Situated in the picturesque village of Howwood, The Boarding House is a stunningly refurbished former coaching house turned into an ultra stylish pub offering great food, a deli counter and a full complement of drinks to slake the thirst of the weary traveller.

Situated just down the road from Elderslie, the birthplace of William Wallace, it is assured that no-one will be crying for FREEDOM from the warm embrace of The Boarding House.

This historic hotel has been around since 1770 and its historic charm gracefully transcends throughout the building following a recent refurbishment which CTD Specification manager Isabella Geer has been delighted to be involved in.

Original features of the old coaching inn have been retained, combining old and new qualities which were a must for the client.

Isabella Greer knew exactly what would look great for this quirky project, suggesting CTD Architectural Cementine black & white tiles to Inch Architecture, Glasgow.

Expertly installed by tiling contractors Gordon Turner Tiling, the monochrome design adds a contemporary twist to a traditional building.

Combining CTD Architectural Cementine with coordinating 600x600 Gomma tiles created the wow factor interior look which has fast become a constant talking point between both staff and customers alike. A classic gloss white bevel brick tile were the perfect tiles for use throughout The Boarding House serving areas, creating a bright & fresh look.
