Tiger Way - Nov18
Tiger Way is a mixed-use scheme providing a new nursery and primary school co-located with 89 residential apartments. The residential scheme borders the open spaces of Hackney Downs, with the primary school entrance fronting Tiger Way.
CTD Architectural Tiles recently supplied the tiles for this project, the ranges used in this scheme include Rewind and Kursaal. Our Rewind collection is suitable for use as a wall or floor covering and was specified for both the utility rooms and bathrooms. Throughout the ground floor our Kursaal range has been used in the communal areas and office space.
Fitted by ABM Tiling, in all bathrooms the Rewind Vanilla Hexagon was used for the floor and a feature half wall to create a design scheme with a unique personality. In the utility areas, the Rewind Peltro 600x300mm were the perfect tiles creating a contemporary look.
Kursaal Rust 600x600mm was carefully chosen due to its surface finish which combines high slip resistance (R11/+36PTV) with a non-abrasive touch. Kursaal is available in seven sizes, six colours and a single finish all with exceptional slip resistant qualities.
Specially sourced, 150x75mm matt wall tiles in charcoal and off-white have been used in other apartments in the shower area, creating a subtle design effect which fit the proposed criteria perfectly.
CTD Architectural Tiles worked with Architects Hawkins/Brown, Main Contractor McLaren & Tiling Contractor ABM Tiling.
