London Wetland Centre - Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust

Situated close to the hustle and bustle of central London, the tranquil London Wetland Centre reserve is an environmentally friendly preservation which helps conserve wetlands - an original source of water for both wildlife and people.

The London Wetland Centre offers acres of scenic land but it also provides an oasis within the urban jungle being used for weddings, corporate and educational events with the newly constructed H20 viewing auditorium - a particular feature of note.

The London Wetland Centre is an innovative building with sustainability at its heart, it is no surprise therefore that Fuse Design and Build chose to specify and supply products from CTD Architectural Tiles, with its strong reputation for supporting sustainable design.

These state of the art buildings are designed to bring the outdoors in with the help of our CTD Antique Stoneway porcelain range and came in 300 x 300mm, 600 x 300mm and 600 x 600mm sizes calibrated to work together.

With its clear environmental provenance, CTD Architectural Antique Stoneway porcelain tiles allow architects and designers to achieve BREEAM compliance.

The strong design of CTD Antique Stoneway is exactly what the London Wetland Centre team were asking for and whilst speaking to the staff they said they were delighted by the new Educational Theatre.

CTD Architectural Tiles specification manager Holly Charrington who worked alongside Fuse Design and Build, states "It was a great achievement to have been appointed this project as we feel this was a fantastic opportunity for CTD Architectural Tiles to carry out a project so important to preserve for the next generation to enjoy."
