Liverpool Street Station

CTD Architectural Tiles are delighted to have been involved in the recent refurbishment of the men’s and ladies’ toilets at Liverpool Street Station in London. The station serves around 64 million passengers every year, and the previous facilities required extensive modernisation.

These works took place during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic which added more pressure to the project. However, CTD Architectural Tiles’ Core Collection range of tiles offers the reassurances for supply & demand with guaranteed stock; ideal for a collection you can rely on to deliver.

We followed a clear brief to supply a coordinating stone effect matt finish wall & floor tile that is hard wearing and modern. Part of the Core Collection offering next day delivery, our British Stone range was supplied in Beige 600x300 and 600x600 formats for immediate delivery during lock down. Suitable for all commercial projects this stunning wall & floor tile comes with an R10, +36 PTV slip rating. It is available in three colours, four sizes and two finishes and now with an additional 20mm thick tile for creating continuous floors between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Working alongside Cardon Construction and Arcitile Group, CTD Architectural Tiles were proud to be involved in successfully helping to deliver this project during the pandemic. The result is fantastic newly refurbished public toilet facilities which are easy to maintain and pleasant to use.

Specification Manager Rob Lynch commented “This was a great project to work on during what were difficult social and economic circumstances during the lockdown. We could not be happier with the end product and it’s now a great space in a high profile, heavy traffic location. The whole supply chain really came together to deliver a project in difficult circumstances that I know the client loves.”
