Yorkshire House Leeds

Situated in the vibrant city centre of Leeds sits a modern business space recently benefitting from a design upgrade to be brought up to speed with the chic urban environment.

In the sought after location around Greek Street, these Grade A offices sit alongside the likes of The Alchemist, Bem Brazil and fellow CTD Architectural Tiles client All Bar One. This project is the creation of DLG Architects, who are also based in Leeds, who contacted our Specification Manager Rob Lynch to develop their proposed project brief.

Rob was able to support DLG Architects to achieve the desired look and provide a fit for purpose solution to match the brief and creating a luxury and stylish look throughout the building including lobby areas, stairwells, corridors and WC’s was easy with our British Stone & CTD Granus tile ranges.

For a busy office environment, the tiles had to be able to handle a lot of foot traffic. British Stone in size 1200x600mm which was used throughout this project is a tranquil, natural looking glazed porcelain stone range with three colours and four sizes.

The Granus range also played a part in this transformation project at Yorkshire House. CTD Granus is a porcelain tile range which offers a vein cut stone look in 18 sizes, the 1200x600mm and impressive 18 colours with the choice of natural, structured, bush hammered, honed and polished finish.

Speaking of the development, specification manager Rob stated: "Some folk call Leeds the jewel of the north, and with this project, that jewel is sparkling just a little brighter. Office projects like this require attractive but durable and fit for purpose flooring solutions. I was pleased DLG gave me the opportunity to support them on this project and I hope that we can work with this fantastic practice on many more projects."
